![]() From last month's colonial era exhibit we move in March to the "not so long ago." This month's exhibit includes many photographs taken by J. C. Alexander in the 1940s and 1950s. ![]() The seven display cases of photographs cover a wide area of subjects including people, places, events, school, things and more. ![]() ![]() Do you think any floats like these will appear in our Hampshire250 School Parade in May? Can you recognize these? ![]() Many of the photographs are marked with information about the people or event. Can you guess what this is about? Who are the two men on the right? The gray haired gentleman was a popular politician. The man on the far right was a local patron of Hampshire County history. ![]() By the way, these photographs are historic but the subject matter may not be historical! We can not do justice to the whole exhibit here on the web, so we encourage you to visit the library in Romney or Capon Bridge to see this month's wonderful look back on a Hampshire County of not so long ago. |
