ARNOLD CEMETERY, Green Springs, WV.

Located Southwest of Green Springs. Head West on Arnold Stickley North Rd. (Rt.1/1) for about 2.7 miles, make a left onto Magali Rd. about 1.2 miles, make a right on an unnamed road, .1 miles turn left and this cemetery is located at the end of this short little road on the left on top of the hill over looking the field.

I included 2 photos of this cemetery as it was hard to find until I know what I was looking for. As you can see the markers are tucked away behind a small concrete wall, out of site, and looking like an old foundation to a house.

  • David Arnold: died Oct 5, 1855; "Aged 58 yrs 2 mos 1 dy".
  • Mary Arnold: died Sep 25, 1875; "Aged 71 yrs 3 mos 9 dys" "Wife of David Arnold".
  • Sarah J. Hass: died Nov 21, 1858; "Aged 33 yrs 10 mos 22 dys" "Wife of Wm Hass".
  • Sallie A. Hass: died Aug 9, 1877; Aged 1 yr 7 mos 2 dys" "Dau. of D.A. & E.H. Hass".
  • William Hass: born Jun 28, 1820; died May 29, 1904; "Aged 83 yrs 11 mos 1 dy".
