Kuykendall-Blue Graveyard, Springfield, WV.


This cemetery is located about 2.5 miles south of Springfield on Long Rd. (Rt. 28/4). Make a left onto Long Rd., about .2 miles on the right you will come to a small house on the right. Behind this house and on top of the wooded hill you will find this family cemetery.

  • Frances Blue: [hard to read the death date]; "Aged 69 yrs 3 mos" "Wife of Michael Blue".
  • Harriet W. Blue: died Jan 24, 1854; "Aged 25 yrs 1 mo 3 days" "Daughter of Michael & Frances Blue".
  • Lawson Blue: born 1821; died 1906.
  • Mary Blue: born 1835; died 1916; "His Wife".
  • Michael Blue: born 1819; died 1903.
  • Michael Blue: died [month] 13, 1890; "Aged 51 yrs 1 mo 19 dys".
  • Thomas Blue: died Oct 20, 1854; "Aged 46 yrs 6 mos".
  • Garret W. Kuykendall: born Jan 17, 1859; died Feb 25, 1860; "Son of J. & H.L. Kuykendall"
  • Hannah L. Kuykendall: died Apr 7, 1889; "Aged 73 yrs 7 mos 7 dys"; "Wife of James Kuykendall".
  • Isaac Kuydendall: born 1839; died 1909; "Captain Co F 7th Cav CSA; "Son of James & Hannah L. Kuydendall".
