Off of Rt. 50 in Capon Bridge, travel about 3 miles south on Christian Church Road until you get to a 90 degree left turn in the road. Instead of making the turn, go straight ahead on the dirt road until you get to a 90 degree right-hand turn. This gravesite is down this field next to the trees about 100 yards on private property.

Dr. James Monroe: born Feb 16, 1785; died Feb 11, 1855; "age 69 years 11 months & 25 days".

Margaret Monroe: born Jan 17, 1797; died Jan 10, 1858; "In memory of our beloved Mother" "wife of Dr. James Monroe" "aged 60 years 11 mo and 24 days".
